Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts.
You are business owner.
You have a cake bakery business.
You have a online website.
Or you have an app the doubles as a website and you are generating large sales.
You already have a payment merchant to receive money form the sells fo your products. This comes in handy as well when you need to get paid through your affiliate account.
You have high sells (lots of foot traffic) due to the quality of the products that you sell.
You only buy these products from Amazon using your discounted Amazon Business Account that happens to give you 40% off of each purchase that you make.
You stand by the products as being the reason behind your success.
You decide to become a spokes person for this business and create a "Tips and Resources blog" by letting others know that these are the products that I use and call it,

THINGS YOU WILL NEED BEFORE SETTING UP AN AFFILIATE ACCOUNT:
You will need to have an account for direct deposit.
A website to post your URL links given to you by the affiliate. A blog tend to work best.
Consistantcy. Post at least on a weekly basis. The more you post the more foot traffic you are likely to get.
You can do it too!
Simply go to the business website of your choice and see if they host an affiliate program for you to sign up for. You will have to have a business license to do so.
There is a lot of foot traffic if you are selling your own products on Amazon.
